We all know that the Polish take their speedway rather seriously, but this takes it all to another level. These scenes are unlikely to be repeated at Eastbourne next week.
Following on from our look at the UK speedway tracks from the air, this is the Amman Valley trotting track in South Wales which recently staged a round of the UK Short Track Championship.
It is hard to believe, but tomorrow sees the 10th staging of the British Speedway Grand Prix at Cardiff's Millennium stadium. Around 45,000 fans from all over the UK (and beyond) make the annual pilgrimage and the atmosphere they create is unlike anything else on earth. It really is completely unique and although it comes across well on TV, you have to be there in person to fully appreciate the "wall of sound".
Engines get fired up at 5PM and there are tickets available on the day. Hopefully the "one-off" track will be up to the job and the partisan crowd will be hoping that Chris "Bomber" Harris can emulate his amazing performance in 2007.
A celebration of all that is unique and inspiring on two wheels. Although focusing on the world of speedway, we also like to spread the net further, taking in all other forms of racing (and sliding) along the way.
